Request update to MakePECD3.02 EEPC6+W7.zip for the 6.1.2 software, or is this needed? Also, what does this message mean:
Invalid disk for pre-boot file system
It was seen on a Dell E6420 encrypted with EEPC 6.1.2 from shell of EETech wim that was booted from flash drive. The EETech was created using instructions at https://community.mcafee.com/community/business/data/epoenc/blog/2011/01/20/how-to-create-an-ee-tech-recovery-disk-for-mcafee-eepc-using-winpe-3 with the MakePE6.1.zip file that was attached to that post. It didn’t want to use token authentication. Is this a version issue? Any help would be appreciated. Also, hey, what’s up with the standalone version. I ran makeboot and specified a FAT32 formated flash drive. It booted to EETech, but that app didn’t work very well. It was slow to the point that I may have confused some slowness with application hangs. We don’t have floppy drives. I’d rather be able to use flash drives, if possible. Again, any help would be appreciated.
